The TD bucket elevator is a new-type bucket elevator designed and developed based on the D-type bucket elevator. Compared with the D-type bucket elevator, the TD-type bucket elevator has the advantages of large lifting capacity, high lifting height, stable and reliable operation, and long service life. This series of bucket elevators is also equipped with four hoppers of different specifications, namely Q-type (shallow hopper), H-type (arc-bottom hopper), ZD-type (medium-deep hopper) and SD-type (deep hopper). Users can make a selection according to the characteristics of the materials to be conveyed.
TD/D type bucket elevators are mainly applied in industries such as food, chemical engineering and construction. They are suitable for conveying non-abrasive or semi-abrasive materials in powder, granular and small block forms, such as grain, coal, cement, crushed ore, sand, coke breeze and so on.
The TD-type bucket elevator adopts a rubber conveyor belt as the traction component and uses the scooping method to complete the loading of materials. The loading inlet is set at the tail of the equipment, which is more conducive to the loading and conveying of materials. After the materials are put into the bottom of the elevator through the feed inlet, the hoppers (i.e., buckets) are pulled by the conveyor belt to carry the materials and run upward at a constant speed. When the hoppers loaded with materials run to the top, they unload materials in a centrifugal or mixed way, so as to complete the lifting and conveying of materials.
TD bucket elevator is a type of continuous conveying machinery specifically designed for vertical or near-vertical lifting of powdery, granular and small lumpy materials in industrial material handling scenarios. This industrial conveying equipment uses a belt as the traction component, is equipped with a series of hoppers fixed on the belt, and realizes continuous material conveying from low to high positions through a head drive device and a bottom tensioning device. As an upgraded product of traditional D-series bucket elevators, the TD series bucket elevators have obvious improvements in specification diversity, conveying capacity, lifting height and operation stability for industrial production needs.
The working process of TD bucket elevator is based on the circular conveying principle: when the drive device is started, it drives the circular movement of the belt and the hoppers fixed on the belt for continuous material transfer. The hoppers fill materials from the feed inlet at the bottom tail section, lift upward to the top of the head along with the belt, and discharge materials through the outlet according to the parabolic design under the action of centrifugal force. The empty hoppers then return to the bottom to refill materials, and such circulation completes the vertical transfer of materials in the production line. The entire process achieves high-efficiency continuous operation, ensuring the continuity and stability of industrial production for manufacturers.
Traction component: Uses a high-strength conveyor belt as the traction member, featuring light weight, good flexibility and stable operation for reliable material conveying.
Hopper configuration: Provides four hopper types—Q-type (shallow hopper), H-type (arc-bottom hopper), medium-deep hopper and deep hopper. Users can select the appropriate type based on material characteristics for optimized handling.
Machine shell design: The middle shell adopts bent part welding, enabling each shell section to have commonality and interchangeability, ensuring good verticality after installation for easy assembly.
Safety devices: Equipped with a non-return braking device, a speed detector and a belt electronic derailment detector, effectively preventing accidents caused by sudden failures such as power outages to ensure workshop safety.
Feed inlet design: Two feed inlet types (high and low positions) are available. The high position has a 60° angle to the horizontal, suitable for wet and powdery materials; the low position has a 45° angle to the horizontal, suitable for dry and easy-to-disperse materials.
Start-up requirement: The TD bucket elevator must be started with no load, and materials should be unloaded before shutdown to protect the equipment.
Regular inspection: Operators should frequently check the operation of all parts, but it is forbidden to clean or repair moving parts during operation to avoid safety hazards.
Sealing maintenance: All access doors must be fully closed during operation, and appropriate lighting equipment should be installed on the upper/lower sections and detection doors for convenient inspection.
Lubrication maintenance: Regular lubrication should be carried out on all lubrication parts of the equipment as required to ensure flexible and reliable operation of moving parts and extend service life.
