The Z-Type Bucket Elevator is also called a rotary bucket elevator. Main Structure:

  • Hopper: Used for loading materials, with a variety of material options such as stainless steel, carbon steel, food-grade plastic, etc. Different materials are suitable for different types of material conveying. The hoppers are densely arranged to increase the material conveying capacity.
  • Chain: As a traction component, low-alloy high-strength round-link chain is generally selected. After special heat treatment, it has excellent tensile strength and wear resistance, ensuring stable operation and long service life of the equipment.
  • Sprocket: Usually adopts an assembled structure, with the wheel body and rim connected by high-strength bolts. This design facilitates replacing only the rim after the sprocket is worn, reducing maintenance costs and difficulty.
  • Machine Shell: The whole machine shell adopts a sealed design, which can effectively prevent material leakage and dust emission. There are various material options for the machine shell, including semi-closed, dust-proof, air-tight, stainless steel, carbon steel spraying, etc., to meet the needs of different working environments.
  • Tensioning Device: A weight lever-type tensioning device is installed at the lower part, which can realize automatic tensioning, ensure that the chain always maintains a constant tension force, and avoid slipping or chain detachment during equipment operation.

Working Principle:

Materials enter the hopper from the feeding port, are lifted to the top along with the conveying chain, turn downward after bypassing the top wheel, and the Z-type rotary bucket elevator dumps the materials into the receiving trough.The transmission belt of the belt-driven bucket elevator generally uses a rubber belt, which is installed on the lower or upper drive roller and the upper and lower direction-changing rollers.The chain-driven Z-type rotary bucket elevator is generally equipped with two parallel transmission chains, with a pair of drive sprockets on the upper or lower part and a pair of direction-changing sprockets on the lower or upper part.Bucket elevators are generally equipped with a machine shell to prevent dust emission from the bucket elevator.The Z-Type Bucket Elevator is standard equipped with a torque protector. When a metal hopper is used, the machine will stop running if the hopper is stuck due to a fault, and the alarm light will turn on at the same time, avoiding accidents and ensuring safety and reliability.The rotary bucket lifting conveys materials through hoppers suspended on chains in a closed shell, and can realize horizontal-vertical-horizontal combined conveying.
