Overview
The vertical mixer dryer is mainly used for mixing plastic granules of multiple colors. This equipment has two core functions: hot air drying of plastic particles; and uniform color mixing of plastic particles with functional masterbatches and fillers. Working Principle of Vertical Mixer Dryer:
In this machine, the rapid rotation of the screw lifts the raw materials from the bottom center of the barrel to the top, then scatters them in an umbrella - shaped manner and returns them to the bottom. In this way, the raw materials roll up and down and are stirred in the barrel, and a large amount of raw materials can be evenly mixed in a short time.Air is sent to the electric heating box by the blower, turned into hot air after heating, and then automatically controlled by the electronic temperature regulator.The hot air enters at an appropriate temperature, conducts heat exchange along the way, and continuously takes away moisture, thus achieving efficient drying of plastic materials.
Main Structure of Vertical Mixer Dryer:
- Frame part: All working parts of the machine are installed and fixed on the frame. The frame of the machine is made of high - quality carbon steel plates and channel steels through welding, which meets strict product qualification standards and specific process requirements to serve the purpose of the machine.
- Transmission connection part: The machine uses a cycloidal pinwheel reducer to drive the main shaft to rotate. The working part of the main machine adopts nylon pin as the transmission connector for gear meshing and driving transmission, which is convenient for assembly and maintenance.
- Stirring working part: The power is transmitted from the driving wheel to the main shaft through the pin coupling. It can evenly turn over the materials in the stirring chamber, ensuring sufficient mixing of the materials and thus greatly reducing the material residue.
Operation Process of Vertical Mixer Dryer:
- Material preparation: First, prepare the materials to be mixed and put them into trays respectively. The materials should be slightly moist, not completely liquid, solid or semi - solid. If the materials are too rough, they can be crushed by a crusher first before preparation for mixing.
- Feeding: Open the upper cover of the product, put the newly prepared materials into the U - shaped trough, and add a small amount of water, which should not exceed the level of submerging the pulp shaft, so as to facilitate better mixing of the materials.
- Mixing: Cover the upper cover of the trough, lock the fixing screws of the trough, then turn on the switch to start mixing the materials.
- Discharging: First turn off the switch, loosen the fixing screws of the trough, tilt the trough, and pour the materials into the tray.
