- Stainless steel silo is generally made of 304 or 316L stainless steel. High-grade materials such as 2205, 254SMO and 1.4529 are also available as options.
- The outer shape is either a square silo with rounded corners and conical bottom or a circular silo. All corners adopt arc transitions, ensuring no dead ends, no material residue and an attractive appearance.
- Both inner and outer surfaces undergo high-level polishing treatment. The inner surface roughness can reach Ra≤0.4μm, and the outer surface roughness can reach Ra≤0.8μm.
- The customized hopper cover and butterfly valve are equipped with silicone sealing devices to ensure excellent sealing performance.
- All welding joints are processed with bevels. After double-sided argon arc welding, grinding and polishing treatments are conducted, and the welding quality meets flaw detection requirements.
- It is equipped with customized casters to protect the ground of clean areas from damage without leaving traces.
- The stainless steel silo has sufficient strength and no deformation will occur during use.

Stainless steel silo is a storage equipment in the mechanized bulk material handling system, mainly functioning as intermediate storage, system buffering and balanced operation.The stainless steel silo device consists of the silo itself, feeding components, discharging components and other parts.It is suitable for the transfer of materials in closed production processes of enterprises in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries.Generally, the top cover and valves of the stainless steel silo are equipped with silicone sealing rings, ensuring sealed, safe and moisture-proof material storage.Materials can be used for different purposes in the same container, avoiding frequent processes such as material transfer and refueling, and effectively preventing dust cross-contamination.
Ordering Instructions for Stainless Steel Silo:
- Volume of stainless steel silo/powder storage silo: A series of specifications including 50L, 100L, 200L, 300L, 400L, 500L, 600L, 800L, 1000L, 1500L, 1800L, 2000L and 5000L are available, and custom volumes are also supported.
- Tank material: SUS304 or 316L stainless steel is available (thickness: customized according to application requirements).
- Inner surface treatment of the tank: Mirror polishing (or other treatments according to application requirements).
- Outer surface treatment of the tank: 2B original matte finish, frosted wire-drawing finish or mirror finish.
- Customers need to provide the angle of repose (also known as the angle of rest) of the powder material.
- Equipment components: Manhole, feeding port, sight glass, breather, vacuum discharger, discharge valve, etc. (all can be selected according to actual needs).
- Arch-breaking and flow-aiding vibrator: Pneumatic vibrator, electric vibrator, etc. (selection depends on actual needs).

Weighing Hopper

- It can be cleaned with high pressure (or equipped with a built-in movable 360° rotating spray ball for cleaning) to keep the inside of the tank clean.
- The sealed structure keeps the powder moisture-proof and prevents dust dispersion and pollution.
